The Sarah Bush Lincoln Regional Cancer Center has received a donation from Sullivan Fast Stop, part of South Central FS. Cheryl Coddington, manager of Sullivan Fast Stop, stated that during October, the gas station contributed a penny for every gallon of gas purchased. "A lot of our customers rely on the Regional Cancer Center, so we want to be able to give back to the community and help in any way," said Coddington.
The funds will aid individuals receiving care at the SBL Regional Cancer Center. Since its inception in 2016, the center has been operating beyond its capacity and is projected to serve double the number of people compared to when it first opened.
