City of Martinsville City Council met Jan. 22.

Attendance: Bob Lovell-Mayor, Caitlin Dill-City Clerk, Terri Connelly- City Treasurer, Dan Kibler-Marshall Advocate, Ryan Slater, and Dallas Richardson.

Meeting called to order by Mayor Lovell at 7 PM.

Public Comments:

Dallas Richardson: Repairs to the sidewalk for the Funeral Home would be done in front on Washington Street and wrap around to the garage doors on Vine Street. Funeral Home will be responsible for ADA compliance as well. First a survey will need done to get layout and grades, then stages and timing will be determined.

● Clarification on committee meetings, one member can contact another member about scheduling without any mention of business. Possibility for city email to be utilized for scheduling for a record of the conversation.

● Inquiring if a survey needs done in order to plant trees. -No.

● Arbor committee meeting needs scheduled, possibly next Wednesday.

Pendleton:

● Street and Alley committee needs to schedule a meeting possibly next week.
