Call to Order: 6:30 p.m.

1. Motion Leib, seconded by Hatcher, to approve the Consent Agenda: Minutes of the previous meeting, November 20, 2024, Bills, Activity Account Statements, Treasurer’s Report. Roll call: Unanimous

1. Motion Harris, seconded by Darrough, to approve the Tax Levy Resolution and the Certificate of Tax Levy on the taxable property of the Flora School District for the year 2025 in the amount of $4,633,254 and authorize filing the levy with the County Clerks of Clay, Wayne, and Marion Counties. Roll call: Wiley, yes; Hatcher, yes; Porter, yes; Leib, yes; Darrough, yes; Dunahee, yes; Harris, yes.

2. Motion Harris seconded by Leib, to approve and adopt on second reading revisions to Board policies 2:105, 2:110, 2:120, 2:140, 4:10, 4:30, 4:40, 4:60, 4:150, 4:160, 4:170, 4:190, 5:10, 5:20, 5:30, 5:35, 5:90, 5:120, 5:125, 5:150, 5:230, 6:20, 6:60, 6:65, 6:135, 6:270, 6:340, 7:10, 7:100, 7:160, 7:165, 7:180, 7:200, 8:10. 3. Motion Darrough seconded by Porter, to approve the bid for the purchase of eight school buses for the 2025-2026 school year submitted by Midwest Bus Sales. Roll Call: Hatcher, yes; Porter, yes; Wiley, yes; Leib, yes; Darrough, yes; Harris, yes; Dunahee, yes.

4. Committee Reports: Superintendent Hackney reported that the first district technology committee meeting of the year will be on January 13, 2025.

5. Administrator Reports:

Mrs. Pearce: Wrapping up first semester- fun activities

Mrs. Carder: Lots of fun activities

Mrs. Leonard: Christmas activities, Winter Olympics on Friday and Sports season is going well.

Mr. McNeely: Christmas basketball teams getting ready to start and Girls competitive cheer has 3 straight first place Game day finishes.

Hackney-Indicated that the sequence of dismissal list has been distributed. The first semester ends December 20th and Christmas Break begins on December 21st, Highlighted upcoming Co-Op for band with Clay City.

6. Motion Darrough, seconded by Leib, to exclude an individual from school district property, events, and activities for one calendar year with exception allowing attendance for 8th grade graduation with the individual checking in with the Superintendent when arriving. Roll Call: Porter, yes; Dunahee, yes; Darrough, yes; Leib, yes; Wiley, yes; Harris, yes; Hatcher, yes.

7. Motion Hatcher, seconded by Harris, to accept the resignation as assistant high school softball coach submitted by Staci Countryman. Roll Call: Wiley, yes; Hatcher, yes; Darrough, yes; Porter, yes; Harris, yes; Leib, yes; Dunahee, yes.

8. Motion Leib, seconded by Porter, to adjourn the meeting at (7:15 p.m.). Unanimous
