There were 1,996 white students enrolled in Richland County school districts in the 2021-22 school year, 1.7% more than the previous year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.

Data showed that white students made up 91% of the 2,194 students in Richland County during the 2021-22 school year. They were the most represented ethnicity.

East Richland Community Unit School District 1 was the only district in the county which enrolled white students, welcoming 1,996 students in the 2021-22 school year.
