City of Arcola City Council met Dec. 18.
Here are the minutes provided by the council:
Mayor Garza called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Members present were Alderpersons Hensley, Henson, Becerra, Budd and Foran. City Administrator Wagoner was also present. Alderwoman Helmuth, Treasurer Anderson and Attorney Bequette were not present.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Alderman Hensley led the council and audience in the Pledge of Allegiance.
PUBLIC COMMENT
There was none.
APPROVAL OF DECEMBER 04, 2023 COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES
Alderman Foran moved to approve the December 04, 2023 council meeting minutes as presented and was seconded by Alderman Henson. Roll call vote, all ayes. Motion carried.
APPROVAL OF DECEMBER 02, 2023 THROUGH DECEMBER 15, 2023 BILLS
Alderman Hensley moved to approve December 02, 2023 – December 15, 2023 bills as presented and was seconded by Alderman Henson. Roll call vote, all ayes. Motion carried.
CONSIDER AND APPROVE RESOLUTION NO. 23-R-12, RESOLUTION OF SUPPORT AND COMMITMENT OF LOCAL FUNDS – CDAP GRANT
Alderman Budd moved to approve Resolution No. 23-R-12 and was seconded by Alderman Becerra. Roll call vote, all ayes. Motion carried.
CONSIDER AND APPROVE CHANGE ORDER, SCHROCK DRIVE RECONSTRUCTION (-10,274.95)
Alderman Henson moved to approve Change Order Schrock Drive Reconstruction in amount of $10,274.95 credit. Alderman Foran seconded the motion. Roll call vote, all ayes. Motion carried.
COMMITTEE REPORTS
There were no committee reports.
As this concluded the business of the meeting, Alderman Hensley moved to adjourn and was seconded by Alderman Becerra. Roll call vote, all ayes. Motion carried.
