Public Works Director Heuerman stated this resolution accepts the proposals for Effingham City Hall Fire Protection and Fire Alarm Project from Wente Plumbing and Fire Protection in the amount of $366,176 and from Field Wrks, Inc. in the amount of $54,118 for the sum of $420,294. Payment for this project will be made from Central TIF Fund.

Tourism Director Thoele stated this resolution authorizes a renewal contract for billboards with DDI Media.
There were no objections to bring this item back to a future City Council Meeting.
6.2 Resolution No. 092-2023, A Resolution Granting Permission to Effingham High School to have an Effingham High School Homecoming Parade on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 - Tourism Director Thoele
Tourism Director Thoele stated this resolution grants permission to Effingham High School to have the EHS Homecoming Parade on September 27, 2023.
This item will be brought back for discussion again at a future City Council Meeting.
6.3 Petition to Rezone from NU and M-1 to R-3D - RLM Assets, LLC - Miracle Avenue - City Planner Koester
City Planner Koester stated a public hearing was held on July 11, 2023, on a petition to rezone property at the end of Miracle Avenue from NU and M-1 to R-3D. The recommendation of the Plan Commission on a 3-2 vote by 5 of the 9 members present was to deny the petition.
