Rep. Adam Niemerg spoke out on how the Democrats want to take it further despite the anti-life and anti-gun laws in the nation.
In a Wednesday Facebook post, Niemerg scolded Democrats for new groups focused on abortion and guns.
"Folks, we have some of the most anti-life anti-gun laws in the nation. Yet the Democrats want to take it even further. Not one Republican was invited to participate, how’s that for inclusion and equity?" said Niemerg.
In his Facebook post, Niemerg shared a piece from The Center Square. The publication noted that the creation of four work groups focused on guns, abortion and related issues have followed the announcement of a special session to occur at a date to be determined.
The new groups will try to address serious concerns about the future of reproductive health following the Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade, firearm safety, mental health awareness, and the rise of online extremism.
According to WMAY.com, Niemerg isn't the only Republican who is out of sorts about these working groups. Rep. Tim Butler has dismissed these groups as "a way to keep people busy."
