City of Villa Grove City Council Committee of the Whole met Jan. 24.

CALL TO ORDER - ROLL CALL
The City Council Committee of the Whole of the City of Villa Grove met in regular session in Council Chambers. Mayor Eversole-Gunter called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
Roll call found the following members present: Alderman Blaney, Johnson, Garrett, Cheely. Aldermen Hooker and Pangburn were absent. City Administrator Athey, Clerk Osborne were also present.
Council followed all COVID 19 protocols for social distancing.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE - The Mayor stood and led all attendees in The Pledge of Allegiance.
PUBLIC COMMENTS - No public attended.
BUSINESS
1. Project Discussions - The informational letter is completed, and water and sewer billing customers will be going out on Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2022.
2. Other items brought before the Council: No other items were discussed.
ADJOURNMENT - With no further business, Alderman Garrett motioned to adjourn the meeting at 6:28 p.m. Alderman Cheely seconded the motion. Roll Call: Blaney, yea, Cheely, yea, Johnson, yea, Garrett, yea. Motion passed.
