Report: Casey Westfield School District spent $9,585 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Casey Westfield Community Unit School District 4C was up 3 percent from five years ago, according to the East Central Reporter analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Clark County school district spent $9,305 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $9,585 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 941 to 894 students over the same period.

Casey Westfield's spending in 2019-20 was 33.9 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
