Report: Dieterich School District spent $8,274 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Dieterich Community Unit School District 30 was down 2.7 percent from five years ago, according to the East Central Reporter analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Effingham County school district spent $8,500 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $8,274 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 480 to 558 students over the same period.

Dieterich's spending in 2019-20 was 42.9 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
