Report: Shiloh School District spent $11,058 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Shiloh Community Unit School District 1 was up 0.5 percent from five years ago, according to the East Central Reporter analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Edgar County school district spent $11,000 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $11,058 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 423 to 356 students over the same period.

Shiloh's spending in 2019-20 was 23.7 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
