Sexual predator Clarence E. Conner lives in Tuscola as of Oct. 15

Clarence E. Conner, who lives at 755 N. 800E Tuscola, IL 61953, is listed on the Illinois Police Sex Offender Registry as of Oct. 15.

They were convicted on the charge of "aggravated criminal sex abuse/victim 13-16" of a 10-year-old victim in Douglas.

The Registry lists them as compliant with their court-ordered conditions after their conviction.

Sexual predators and child murderers remain on the registry for the rest of their life. Sexually violent people are no longer listed 10 years after their conviction.

A study from SafeHome.org found an increase in the number of sex offenders in the US, up to approximately 780,000 people as of May 2021.

Illinois has the fifth-highest number of registered sex offenders and the 21st highest number of offenders per population of 100,000.
