Arcola Community Unit District #306 Board of Education Met June 28.

A special meeting of the Board of Education of Arcola Community Unit District #306 Arcola, Illinois was called to order in the Media Center at 7:00 p.m. for the purpose of considering the appointment of a new school board member to fill a current vacancy.
President Strader called the meeting to order. The following members answered roll call: Crane, Stout, Shonkwiler, Wesch, Arrol, and Strader.
Others present were: Tom Mulligan and Hannah Myers
President Strader recognized the visitors and asked for public comment. No comments were provided.
Business:
Motion by Crane, seconded by Stout, to approve the appointment of Hannah Myers to the Arcola School District Board of Education to complete a term through April, 2023. Roll call vote: Crane, aye; Stout, aye; Shonkwiler, aye; Wesch, aye; Arrol, aye and Strader. 6 ayes. 0 nays. Motion carried.
President Strader administered the oath of office.
Motion by Myers, seconded by Shonkwiler, to adjourn at 8:04 p.m. Roll call vote: Crane, aye; Stout, aye; Shonkwiler, aye; Wesch, aye; Arrol, aye, Myers, aye; and Strader. 7 ayes. 0 nays. Motion carried.
