The second half of 2018: Home prices in Paris fell

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2018 in Paris fell by $2,000 while total sales decreased by 84.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2018, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $66,000 - a 2.9% decrease over the $68,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 19 homes sold in Paris in the second half of 2017.

The median sales tax in Paris for 2018 was $999. In 2017, the median sales tax was $1,022. This marks an decrease of 2.3%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.5%.
