The fourth quarter of 2020: Kansas experienced a 34.7% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2020 in Kansas rose by $15,449 while total sales remained unchanged with three homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2020, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $60,000 - a 34.7% increase over the $44,551 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in Kansas in the fourth quarter of 2019, as well.

The median sales tax in Kansas for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $621, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2020.
