City of Marshall City Council Met Jan. 11.
Here is the minutes provided by the council:
The regular meeting of the City Council was called to order at 6:30 P.M., with Mayor John Trefz presiding. Upon roll call, all council members were present.
Green made a motion, seconded by LeFever, to approve the minutes of the previous meeting as written. Upon roll call, all council members voted for. Motion carried.
Public Comment: LeFever wanted it to be known that he changes his opinion on comprehensive plan. We should wait and see the outcome of COVID before we plan to spend more money.
New Business: None
Smitley made a motion, seconded by Hasten, to approve Pay Application #6 and Final for Maguire Iron, Inc. in the amount of $7,653.00. Upon roll call, all council members voted for. Motion carried.
LeFever made a motion, seconded by Green to pay the bills in the amount of $242,478.23. Upon roll call, all members voted for. Motion carried.
Green made a motion, seconded by LeFever to pay Shore-Murphy Associates in the amount of $350.00. Upon roll call, all council members voted for except Tharp. Tharp abstained due to the nature of her ownership in the business. Motion carried.
Green made a motion, seconded by LeFever to adjourn. Upon roll call, all council members voted for. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 6:47 P.M.
