This portion of the City Council meeting is reserved for persons who desire to address the Council. The Illinois Open Meetings Act mandates that the City Council may NOT take action on comments received on matters that have not been identified on this agenda, but the Council may direct staff to address the topic or refer the matter for action on the agenda for another meeting. Persons addressing the Council are requested to limit their presentations to three minutes and to avoid repetitious comments. 1. Motion – Approve Council Decision Request 2020-2038: Awarding the bid in the amount of $116,700 from Anderson Electric for the Waste Water Treatment Plant Transformer Relocation Project. (Cox)
2. Motion – Adopt Special Ordinance No. 2020-1740: Approving a 10-foot easement from the intersection of 19th Street and Broadway Avenue to the west end of Charleston Avenue Bridge over the Illinois Central Railroad to establish long-term access rights for the maintenance, repair and future replacement of the water main. 3. Motion – Adopt Resolution No. 2020-3081: Approving the continuance of a Local State of Emergency (Coronavirus COVID-19). (Gover)
4. Motion – Approve Council Decision Request 2020-2039: Approving a water and sewer billing adjustment in the amount of $1,020.83 on behalf of Mattoon Rentals. (Owen)
