City of Flora issued the following announcement on April 4.
In accordance with Illinois Gov. Pritzker's order which lasts through at least the end of April 7, The railroad is closed until further notice. The order bans all gatherings of more than 10 people, and most other public or private gatherings outside the household, with some exceptions. Indoor and outdoor playgrounds, museums and other “places of public amusement” or places where amusement rides are located.
We will let everyone know as soon as possible when we might be able to open for the season.
Let's all stay safe, follow the shelter in place order and defeat this terrible sickness so life can go on.
