Engineer Lee Beckman reported we are still on track for an IDOT April letting date for our ITEP 2016 project, which would mean the project will be awarded in May and construction set to begin in June.
Lee reviewed a revised draft layout of the Industrial Park East project. The newest layout reserved all of the wooded area along the Dieterich Creek for Village of Dieterich property in order to maintain the creek and possibly use this land for a future recreation trail. The newest draft layout will now go back to the Zoning and Planning Commission for approval. Water and sewer construction bids will be advertised in February. Lee is still waiting for Ameren to give us information regarding the new electric service that will be needed. We need power to the new lift station once the sewer installation begins. Lee is planning to bid out the streets portion of the project in May.
Engineer Beckman reported on the status of the OSLAD grant project for Liberty Memorial Park. We need to decide what style, type and size of fishing pier the Village wants to construct for the pond. The plan is to bid this project in March. Pavilion addition construction will not begin until after July 4th.
