Paris home prices fall in the first half of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2018 in Paris fell by $53,750 while total sales decreased by 90.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2018, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $51,500 - a 51.1% decrease over the $105,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 21 homes sold in Paris in the first half of 2017.

The median sales tax in Paris for 2018 was $999. In 2017, the median sales tax was $1,022. This marks an decrease of 2.3%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.9%.
