Paris home prices rise in 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in 2017 in Paris rose by $18,500 while total sales decreased by 37.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2017, there were 40 homes sold, with a median sale price of $93,250 - a 24.7% increase over the $74,750 median sale price for the previous year. There were 64 homes sold in Paris in 2016.

The median sales tax in Paris for 2017 was $1,022. In 2016, the median sales tax was $985. This marks an increase of 3.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.1%.
