Paris home prices fall in 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in 2018 in Paris fell by $41,750 while total sales decreased by 95%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2018, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $51,500 - a 44.8% decrease over the $93,250 median sale price for the previous year. There were 40 homes sold in Paris in 2017.

The median sales tax in Paris for 2018 was $999. In 2017, the median sales tax was $1,022. This marks an decrease of 2.3%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.9%.
