City of Arcola City Council met Dec. 16.
Here is the minutes provided by the council:
Mayor Ferguson called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Members present were Alderpersons Hensley, Ferguson, Budd, Foran, Huckstep and Smith. City Administrator Wagoner was also present. Treasurer Anderson and Attorney Bequette were not present.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Alderman Hensley led the council and audience in the Pledge of Allegiance.
PUBLIC COMMENT There was none.
APPROVAL OF DECEMBER 02, 2019 COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES
Alderman Foran moved to approve the December 02, 2019 council meeting minutes as presented and was seconded by Alderman Hensley. Roll call vote, all ayes. Motion carried.
APPROVAL OF NOVEMBER 28, 2019 – DECEMBER 13, 2019 BILLS
Alderwoman Huckstep moved to approve the November 28, 2019 – December 13, 2019 bills as presented and was seconded by Alderman Foran. Roll call vote, all ayes. Motion carried.
CONSIDER AND APPROVE SALARY INCREASE FOR FULL-TIME EMPLOYEES Alderwoman Ferguson moved to approve salary increase for full-time employees in amount of $.25 per hour beginning next pay period. Alderman Foran seconded the motion. Roll call vote, all ayes. Motion carried.
CONSIDER AND APPROVE ORDINANCE NO. 19-S-18, AN AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF ARCOLA AND GREEN MILL VILLAGE, LLC FOR REIMBURSEMENT TO GREEN MILL VILLAGE, LLC FROM HOTEL OPERATOR’S OCCUPATION TAX FUNDS Alderman Smith moved to approve Ordinance No. 19-S-18 and was seconded by Alderwoman Ferguson. Roll call vote, all ayes. Motion carried.
COMMITTEE REPORTS
There were no committee reports.
Alderman Foran stated the guys did a great job moving snow. Mayor Ferguson stated the police also did a great job.
As this concluded the business of the meeting, Alderwoman Huckstep moved to adjourn and was seconded by Alderman Hensley. Roll call vote, all ayes. Motion carried.
