A special meeting of the Board of Education of Arcola Community Unit District #306 Arcola, Illinois was called to order in the Media Center at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 30, 2019 for the purpose of considering the contracts for architectural and construction management services.
President Strader called the meeting to order. The following members answered roll call: Shonkwiler, Arrol, Stout, Thieman, Crane, Wesch and Strader.
Others present were: Tom Mulligan.
President Strader recognized the visitors and asked for public comment. There were no comments
Motion by Crane, seconded by Shonkwiler, to approve the contract as amended with the district architect, Graham and Hyde Architects. Roll call vote: Shonkwiler, aye; Arrol, aye; Crane, aye; Strader, aye; and Stout, aye; Wesch, aye; Thieman, aye. 7 ayes. 0 nays. Motion carried.
Motion by Wesch, seconded by Thieman, to approve the contract with the district construction manager, Poettker Construction. Roll call vote: Shonkwiler, aye; Arrol, aye; Crane, aye; Strader, aye; and Stout, aye; Wesch, aye; Thieman, aye. 7 ayes. 0 nays. Motion carried
Motion by Crane, seconded by Shonkwiler, to adjourn at 7:35 p.m. Roll call vote: Shonkwiler, aye; Arrol, aye; Strader, aye; Crane, aye; and Stout, aye; Wesch, aye; Thieman, aye. 7 ayes. 0 nays. Motion carried.
