City of Casey issued the following announcement on Sept. 22.
Join us as we will be measuring 3 of the 6 new attractions.
Measuring will begin at 9am and is estimated to go until 11:30am
1) Key, located at 5 W. Alabama St. Casey, IL
2) Barber’s Pole, located at 12 W. Main St., Casey, IL
3) Teeter-Totter, located at 201 E. Main St., Casey, IL
Once the measuring is completed at the Teeter-Totter, the certification presentation will begin. Jim Bolin will find out if he has the world record certifications for the gavel, golf club, swizzle spoon, key, barber's pole and teeter-totter. The ceremony is slated to last from 11:30-12:00 CST.
Casey businesses will be also running the first day of Fall specials, too! Family-friendly fun and a potential record-breaking day for Casey!
Plus the winner of the rocking chair raffle will be drawn at the certificate ceremony
