City of Casey issued the following announcement on Aug. 29.
The Casey City Council met at 10:30 this morning for discussion of the Former Regions Bank Building. During the meeting the council voted to proceed with purchase of the property, at 3:27pm when the auction came to a close, The City of Casey was the highest bid. The City of Casey has purchased the former Regions Bank Building for the relocation of City Hall.
