ILLINOIS STATE HOUSE DISTRICT 110: The Democrats will be well-funded in 2020, and they are looking for victories in traditional Republican strongholds.

Hhhh

Illinois State House District 110 issued the following announcement on Aug. 19.

One of the most important lessons from the last election is that we cannot take any election for granted. The Democrats will be well-funded in 2020, and they are looking for victories in traditional Republican strongholds.

There is no doubt that the Democrats will field a candidate against me in the next election. Taking a stand against the tax and spend policies coming out of Springfield does not exactly make me popular in Springfield, but I did not run for office to be popular. I ran to do what is right for the citizens of Illinois.

I am going to continue to fight for the reforms we need to turn our state around, but I need your help to do it.

One way you can help is by attending a family-friendly event I am hosting on Sept. 2nd from 5-8 pm at Miller Park in Oakland. We are asking for a suggested donation of $10 per person. Your $10 donation gets you a hamburger, country beans, sweet corn, chips and dessert. The King Family will be performing their signature bluegrass music throughout the evening. In addition, State Representative and State Senate Candidate Darren Bailey and State Representative Brad Halbrook will be speaking at the event.

Our values and way of life are under attack. There are a growing number of lawmakers like me who are willing to stand up to the far-left Chicago politicians who are desperately trying to turn Illinois into the California of the Midwest. We need more – not fewer – reform minded legislators in Springfield. If you cannot come to the event, please consider making a donation. I need your help to keep fighting the extremists in Springfield. Thank you for your support and I look forward to continuing to serve the people of Illinois.
