The data shows that eight men and two women were released in the Marshall zip code. The median age of the parolees was 35. The youngest parolee was a 25-year-old woman convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2016, and the oldest was a 46-year-old man convicted of a crime against a person in 2017.
The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Charles Richey. He was convicted of a crime involving one or more weapons in 2013, when he was 34 years old. He is now 40.
Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
