2018 Recap: Parolees in Noble convicted of drug crimes
The data shows that three men were among the parolees. The median age of the parolees sentenced for drug crimes was 45. The youngest parolee was a 21-year-old man sentenced in 2017, and the oldest was a 66-year-old man sentenced in 2012.
The offender who was incarcerated the longest was Freddie L. Payne Sr. He was convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2012 when he was 59 years old. He is now 66.
Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
