Q4 2018 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Edgar County?

There were six offenders released on parole during the fourth quarter that live in Edgar County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by East Central Reporter.

The data shows that five men and one woman were released in Edgar County. The median age of the parolees was 36. The youngest parolee was a 30-year-old man sentenced for a crime involving drugs in 2018, and the oldest was a 45-year-old man sentenced for a crime against a person in 2018.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Ashley K. Harbour. She was convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2017 when she was 30 years old. She is now 32.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the fourth quarter in each Edgar County municipality.
