2018 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Jasper County?

There were 15 offenders released on parole during 2018 that live in Jasper County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by East Central Reporter.

The data shows that 12 men and three women were released in Jasper County. The median age of the parolees was 40. The youngest parolee was a 22-year-old man convicted of a crime against a person in 2017, and the oldest was a 59-year-old man convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2017.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Max A. Utley. He was convicted of a crime against a person in 2016 when he was 41 years old. He is now 44.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in 2018 in each Jasper County municipality.
