Charleston home prices fall in March 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in March 2018 in Charleston fell by $11,150 while total sales increased by 52.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In March 2018, there were 26 homes sold, with a median sale price of $73,750 - a 13.1% decrease over the $84,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 17 homes sold in Charleston in March 2017.

The median sales tax in Charleston for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,101.10, approximately 2.8% of the median home sale price for March 2018.
