City of Casey issued the following announcement on March 14.
Update: 10:52 pm - We are back up and running. Our provider was able to get down here quicker than we thought and got their issue resolved. So our original issue has been fixed. Thanks for your patience, and thanks to our providers workers and ours that were called out as well.
Update: 9:11 pm - We are going to shut off our main feed from our provider and run on our generators. We will be doing this pretty soon. We are still unsure when they will get a crew together to work on this issue. When they do eventually get down here we may be without power for 1-2 hours. Again we don’t have a time frame yet but as soon as we do we pass along more info.
Due to a power line issue coming into our City from Ameren the City of Casey will be without power for a while. We aren’t exactly sure when they will shut us off, or how long we will be off. Due to it being close to our generator building we may not be able to run them during this time. Thanks for your patience during this time.
