Administrators in Cumberland Community Unit School District 77 earn an average of $85,349 per year, ranking 690th out of 864 districts in the state, according to a East Central Reporter analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card.

The 2018 average is 33.8% higher than in 2014 and 17.3% higher than in 2009. District administrators make 20.4% less than the state average of $107,279.

Administrator salaries depend on the district's size, location and resources, as well as the individual's level of experience and education, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.

The Cumberland County school district enrolled 1056 students in 2017-18. There is an average of 264 students for every administrator, compared to a statewide ratio of 181 to 1.
