City of Neoga issued the following announcement on Jan. 30.
As many of you know, tonight and tomorrow will be the coldest days we have seen in a very long time. This could be very dangerous should you be outside for more than a few minutes. Please use extreme caution and check on your neighbors or family that they are staying warm too. If you know of someone who does not have a warm place to stay or their heat just can't keep up, please call the city building at 895-3237, call 911, or have them stop by 533 Chestnut Avenue at our warming station. Dont forget about your pets either. Bring pets either inside or an enclosure to keep them safe as well. If you don't have a place for your outdoor pets, please turn their house way from the wind. Be safe and stay warm!
