Report: Dieterich spent $8,066 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Dieterich Community Unit School District 30 is down 4.1 percent from five years ago, according to a East Central Reporter analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Effingham County school district spent $8,411 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $8,066 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment rise over the same period, from 460 to 512.

Dieterich's spending in 2017-18 was 39.5 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
