Report: Windsor spent $11,161 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Windsor Community Unified School District 1 is up 18.4 percent from five years ago, according to a East Central Reporter analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Shelby County school district spent $9,429 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $11,161 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 377 to 372.

Windsor's spending in 2017-18 was 16.3 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
