Report: Casey Westfield spent $9,468 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Casey Westfield Community Unit School District 4C is up 2.6 percent from five years ago, according to a East Central Reporter analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Clark County school district spent $9,226 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $9,468 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 953 to 890.

Casey Westfield's spending in 2017-18 was 29 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
