City of Casey issued the following announcement on Nov. 7.
School buses transport the most precious cargo there is, children. It is OUR responsibility to know the law in order to keep them safe. Please be extra vigilant in the morning and after school as these children are depending on you to obey the laws around school buses. They are depending on you to watch for them and STOP when the bus stops to let them get on or off.
Do NOT ever pass a stopped school bus with its red lights flashing and it’s stop sign and stop arm extended.
