Effingham County Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Sept. 14.
Washington Savings Bank is excited to announce that Ryan J. Fearday was recently promoted to Vice President. Ryan began his banking career at Regions Bank in 2007 where he was a Branch Manager with Regions. He left the company in 2010 to join Washington Savings Bank as the Keller Drive location’s Branch Manager. Shortly after joining WSB, Ryan began making mortgage and consumer loans. In December of 2014 Ryan moved to the Banker Street location as a full-service lender. Ryan now focuses on forming and maintaining relationships with business banking customers in both the lending and deposit gathering areas.
Ryan is a 2006 graduate of Eastern Illinois University and a 2016 graduate of SIU Carbondale where he earned his master’s degree in business administration. He is active in the community with Blessings in a Backpack and the St. Anthony Church picnic. Ryan resides in Effingham with his wife Ann and 2 daughters.
