Chris Miller, running against Democrat Shirley Bell to represent the 110th District in the Illinois House of Representatives, recently appeared with fellow Republican candidate Darren Bailey on Facebook to promote a July 19 event in Effingham where Oliver North will speak.
Bailey said he, Miller and fellow candidate Blaine Wilhour are all scheduled to be at the event and are looking forward to working together to restore order in Springfield.
"Ecclesiastes 4:12 says 'a court of three cannot be easily broken,'' Bailey said. “We believe that and we want to prove that.”

An Evening with Oliver North will be held at the Thelma Keller Convention Center in Effingham from 7 to 9 p.m.
Tickets cost $50 for general admission and $250 for VIP admission.
