Chris Miller, who is running for the state House in the 110th District, is one of three candidates who is bringing Oliver North to town on July 19.
Miller, along with Blaine Wilhour and Darren Bailey, will host An Evening with Oliver North at the Thelma Keller Convention Center in Effingham from 7 to 9 p.m.
Tickets cost $50 for general admission and $250 for VIP admission.

Miller recently used Facebook to thank residents for their hospitality at an event he attended on July 4.
“It's great to be at Charleston's Red, White & Blue Days parade this afternoon!” Miller wrote on Facebook.
The day before, Miller expressed his excitement about the holiday.
“I enjoyed participating in my hometown’s Independence Day parade this past Saturday,” Miller wrote. “Thanks to all of the local volunteers who coordinated the Oakland 4th of July Celebration. It was a wonderful day jam packed with family fun!”
