Hutton Fire Protection District responded to 10 calls in 2017 - 400 percent more than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Hutton included 10 fires - two structure fires, two vehicle fires and six other fires.

In all, the department saw $21,000 in fire loss - or about $2,100 per fire.

The Hutton Fire Protection District had an annual budget of $47,674 in 2017.
