EFFINGHAM COUNTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE: Family 5K and Wellness Expo for Meals on Wheels on June 30

Effingham County Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.

Date: June 30, 2018

Time: 8:00 AM - 11:30 AM CDT

Date/Time Information:

Registration: 8:00 - 8:50 a.m.

5k Run/Walk: 9:00 a.m.

Awards: 10:00 a.m.

Wellness Expo: 8:30 - 11:30

Event Description:

Stanfield Chiropractic is sponsoring a Family 5k & Wellness Expo for Meals on Wheels on Saturday, June 30, 2018. The event will be held at Community Park in Effingham, IL. There will be a 5k Run/Walk open for all ages beginning by the Rotary Pavilion and the race will start at 9:00 A.M. All 5k participants are to register at: https://runsignup.com/Race/IL/Effingham/Family5KandWellnessExpoforMealsonWheels or by stopping by our office to pick up a form. On the day of the event, registration will be from: 8:00 A.M. - 8:50 A.M. Register early if you want a T-shirt! The 5k participant fee is $20 & will cover the individual's t-shirt & will be donated to Meals on Wheels.

There will be 5 age groups & each first place participant will receive an award. Everyone in the "1-10" age group will receive a medal! Sign those kids up & make them feel special!!

Refreshments will be served & face-painting will be available! All will have a chance to be entered in to win St. Louis Cardinal baseball tickets!!!! Teutopolis Treats will be providing ice-cream & sno-cones!

There will also be a FREE Wellness Expo with plenty of giveaways & screenings.even MASSAGES! The Wellness Expo will be under the pavilion and the community is welcome to attend from 8:30 A.M. - 11:30 A.M.

This event is open to the public to help support Meals on Wheels! PLEASE SHARE WITH YOUR FRIENDS & FAMILY :-)
