Arcola City Council met April 23, 

Here is the minutes as provided by the council:

Mayor Ferguson called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Members present were

Alderpersons Foran, Huckstep, Smith, Hensley, Ferguson and Guyot. City Administrator

Wagoner was also present. Treasurer Anderson and Attorney Bequette were not present.

          Pledge of Allegiance Mayor Ferguson led the council and audience in the

Pledge of Allegiance.

          Public Comment There was none.

          Consider and Approve Resolution Establishing a Class II

Truck Route – County Road 300 N. from Rt. 45 to N. Elm Street

Alderman Foran moved to approve Resolution Establishing a Class II Truck Route – County

Road 300 N. from Rt. 45 to N. Elm Street. Alderwoman Huckstep seconded the motion. Roll

call vote, all ayes. Motion carried.

          Consider and Approve Resolution Establishing a Class II

Truck Route – Elm Street from County Road 300 N. to Front Street

Alderman Foran moved to approve Resolution Establishing a Class II Truck Route – Elm Street

from County Road 300 N. to Front Street. Alderman Smith seconded the motion. Roll call vote,

all ayes. Motion carried.

          Consider and Approve Resolution Establishing a Class II

Truck Route – Front Street from N. Elm Street N. to Sheldon

Street Alderman Foran moved to approve Resolution Establishing a Class II Truck Route –

Front Street from N. Elm Street N. to Sheldon Street. Alderman Smith seconded the motion.

Roll call vote, all ayes. Motion carried.

          Consider and Approve Amending the Hiring Rate of Part-Time

Custodian Karla Lampe Alderwoman Huckstep moved to approve amending the

hiring rate of part-time custodian Karla Lampe from $16 to $13 an hour. Alderman Smith

seconded the motion. Roll call vote, all ayes. Motion carried.

          As this concluded the business of the meeting, Alderwoman Huckstep moved to adjourn

and was seconded by Alderman Smith. Roll call vote, all ayes. Motion carried.

          Adjourned at 7:08 p.m.
