Action or discussion items:

Tax Levy ordinance 17-3

Discussion After reviewing the ordinance that was prepared by lawyer Phil Lenzeni the board decided it was correct and to pass.

Action: Signatures from President Gail Miller and Secretary Sheila Wilson were given and dated. Stacey S will take to the Court House on Tuesday and have it filed.

Holiday Gift cards

Discussion It was discussed to give the employees the same amounts as previous years, p/t employees $75 each, director $150

Action Stacey S. will purchase the gift cards from the Shelby county state bank and hand them out in the next pay period

2018 library closed dates

Discussion Stacey S. informed the board that they would continue to follow the federal holiday schedule, mainly due to the fact that when the banks are closed most everyone thinks the library is also. It has worked well the last couple of years and we will continue the same. The dates are attached
