Miller wants to be taxpayers' voice in Springfield

Miller

Chris Miller, an Oakland Republican and a third-generation farmer raising Angus cattle in Coles County, is seeking the 110th District seat being vacated by Rep. Reggie Phillips (R-Charleston) to represent the taxpayers in Springfield.

Miller recently released a statement saying he's looking forward to giving voters the chance to elect him to represent their values and beliefs in the Legislature.

"I'm ready to get to work on the issues that are important to voters," Miller said. "My message is simple, we need more jobs coming to the 110th District."

Miller graduated from Oakland High School, earned a bachelor's degree in science from Eureka College and an associate degree in agriculture from Lakeland College.

The 110th House District includes Clark, Coles, Crawford, Cumberland, Edgar and Lawrence counties.
