Arcola School District #306 Board of Education met April 10.
Here is the minutes as provided by the Board:
Present: Tom Mulligan, Superintendent; Board Members: Dr. Robert Arrol, Randy Rothrock and
Sue Stout; Lisa Sigrist, HS Principal and Angie Gentry, ES Principal
The committee meeting was called to order at 2:00 pm.
The principals presented a draft of the handbook changes for the 2017-2018 school year. The
committee discussed several issues and will make a recommendation to the Board to approve as
a first reading.
The committee also discussed the March 2017 PRESS Packet changes to board policies. The
committee decided which ones will be recommended to the full Board for approval for first
reading.
The committee discussed ideas about having a 100 year celebration for the high school facility.
They also discussed the upcoming steering committee meeting in May.
The meeting adjourned at 3:00 pm.
