Tolono library board sets substitute employee pay

The Tolono Public Library District Board of Trustees met Sept. 6 to set substitute employee pay.

Here are the meeting's minutes, as provided by the board:

Meeting called to order at 6:35 P.M.

No public was present.

Pat Coombs was sworn in as a new trustee.

Christine Schwenk motioned to approve meeting minutes for 8-2-16. Karol Gaines seconded this motion.

Roll Call Vote:

Toshua York- Yes Karol Gaines- Yes Rebecca Morgan Boyd-Yes Greg Boise- Yes

Christine Schwenk-Yes Pat Coombs- Abstained Jamie Price- Yes

Motion passes: 6 Yes’s, 0 No’s, 1 Abstain

Reviewed treasures report. Noted First Bank CD# 640002424 will expire 10/16/16

Karol Gains motioned to approve checks as written. Christine Schwenk seconded this motion.

Discussed Clerk Position Substitute Wage.

Christine Schwenk motioned to set 2016 flat rate of $15/ hour for previous employees of Tolono Library employed as emergency substitute(s) for the clerk position, when use of substitute is approved by the Library Director, Librarian, or

Assistant Librarian. Pat Coombs seconded this motion.
