The Village of Tolono, Illinois, with regard to its TIF District, is calling a meeting of a Joint Review Board for Tuesday, September 20, 2016.

According to the Illinois Municipal Code, "Tax Allocation Redevelopment Act, "65ILCS 5/1 I-74. 4-5 (b), the Joint Review Board shall consist of a representative selected by each community college district, local elementary school district, high school district or each local community unit school district, park district, library district, township, fire protection district, the county that has authority to directly levy taxes on the property within the proposed redevelopment project area, a representative selected by the municipality, and a public member."

As certified by the Office of the Champaign County Clerk, your taxing district is included in this provision and you are invited to be represented at the meeting of this Board at 5:00 p.m., September 20, 2016. This Board will be convened at the Tolono Village Hall, 507 West Strohg Street, Tolono,

The purpose of this meeting of the Joint Review Board is to review the effectiveness and status of the redevelopment project area. Enclosed for your review on CD-ROM is a copy of the State Comptroller's TIF Annual Report for Fiscal Year 2015 that our office has filed on behalf of the Village. A Summary to help with your review of this Report is included on the CD and also enclosed at this time. Please bring the Summary with you when attending the meeting. Additional Annual Reports and Summaries may be printed as needed.
